Corey Caputo Joins MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate

Corey Caputo has joined MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, the brokerage division of The MacKenzie Companies, as senior real estate advisor. Formerly a retail leasing manager with CANA Development, he will be working from MacKenzie’s corporate offices in Lutherville, Maryland.

Caputo will represent the interests of developers, landlords, and institutional owners in the sale and leasing of retail shopping centers and mixed-use properties throughout the greater Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia region. He will collaborate with the entire retail leasing team, including engaging with MacKenzie’s Senior Vice President and Principal, Henry Deford, and Vice President, Tim Harrington.

While at CANA Development, Caputo oversaw leasing for five food halls across four states, maintained 95 percent cumulative occupancy and generated more than $11 million worth of leasing transactions. “MacKenzie is extremely fortunate to have attracted another highly-experienced, industry-proven and passionate real estate professional to our strong retail sales and leasing team,” said Scott Wimbrow, President of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services.
