  • Triten Real Estate Partners hired Carter Bechtol as Partner and Head of Triten Residential. Bechtol, in his new position, will be tasked with overseeing Triten’s multifamily holdings, including sourcing developments and acquisitions, conceptual planning, and engaging with investors and lenders. With more than 28 years of industry experience, Bechtol has led the development of more than 8,000 units for suburban, mid-rise, and high-rise projects at a cost exceeding $1.8 billion across Texas, California, Florida, North Carolina and Missouri. 
  • Cushman & Wakefield announced that Meredith Muecke Howard has joined the firm as a Director based in San Antonio. With 14 years of experience across various facets of real estate—including marketing, business development, project development services and industrial leasing—Howard will attempt to drive growth and build business in agency leasing and tenant representation. 
  • Porter Law Firm has added Bill Barfield to its ranks of managing partners. Bill, previously of the Freeman Law Firm, specializes in construction defects, product liability, personal injury, civil liability, and other related matters.
  • Hoar Construction has announced the completion of the west bed tower at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas. As the general contractor, Hoar broke ground on the project in early 2023. The seven-story, 140,000-square-foot expansion will allow the healthcare provider to serve a wider range of patients across Concho Valley.
  • CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation, announced that has acquired the majority stake in the 337-room AAA Four Diamond Houston City Place Marriott. The purchase of JV partner Affinius Capital’s entire 50% share brings the Coventry Development Corporation entity ownership stake to 95%.
