Principle Construction Completes New Showroom for Pool, Spa Company

Principle Construction recently completed the construction of a new 12,560-square-foot showroom and an outdoor pool park for Doheny’s, a pool and spa distributor, at 5307 Green Bay Road in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The building totals 17,275 square feet, including the 12,560-square-foot showroom, 3,370-square-foot warehouse, and 920-square-foot office space. The Principle team updated the mechanical systems, added LED lighting on the building’s interior and exterior to create energy efficiency and modernized the finishes throughout the space. On the building’s exterior, Principle rebuilt the parking lot and created a new pool park with space to display six full-size pools.

“Doheny’s purchased the retail property which was just down the block from their original location, allowing them to keep their existing customers and employees, and to have a larger and more comfortable space to display their goods,” says Principle President Jim Brucato.

Principle’s Darren Dehmlow and John Cahill served as project managers on this project, while Scott Nagel was the superintendent. Partners in Design served as the architect on the project.
