Publix to Add Nocatee Store
Publix is moving forward on plans to build a $14 million grocery store at Nocatee Town Center in St. Johns County. The store is expected to be 48,387 square feet with a 2,100-square-foot liquor store attached. The center will include two other retail pads. Nocatee is between Jacksonville and St. Augustine.
The Jacksonville Business Journal reports the project calls for developing almost 11 acres south of Nocatee Parkway, just off of Valley Ridge Boulevard, just west of U.S. 1. SONOC Company LLC is the property developer. England-Thims & Miller Inc. of Jacksonville will serve as the civil engineer with Ervin Lovett Miller of Jacksonville as the architecture and planning associate. Skinner Bros. Realty is the development manager for Publix for this project.
