Law Firm Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C. Inks 19K SF in DC

Law firm Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C. has signed a long-term lease for 19,194 square feet at 1101 K Street NW in Washington, DC. The 305,083-square-foot, Class A office building recently underwent a major renovation in 2022.

Transwestern’s Rich Lane and Tyler Marshall represented the tenant in their move from 700 13th Street NW. Avison Young’s Eli Barnes, Greg Tomasso, and Lauryn Harris represented the building owner in the transaction. The building features a lobby, a conference center for 185 people, a tenant lounge, a fitness center, and a bike room with amenities.

“Hyman, Phelps & McNamara has been at its location for over 20 years,” said Marshall. “The decision to relocate was driven by the firm’s desire to both right size and elevate its office space and capitalize on current market conditions by negotiating favorable terms with top concessions.”
