FW’s 27-Story Deco Accepting Tenants

Even though it has been taking tenants for a few months, Southern Land Company (SLC) will get to formally debut its new 27-story luxury high-rise mixed-use community next week in Downtown Fort Worth.

At 567,000 square feet, Deco offers 302 for-rent one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes, as well as penthouses; eight floors of above-grade parking; and an extensive collection of amenities.

Additionally, the community features retail and restaurant space on the first floor, including Texas’ first Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse (B|10), a modern steakhouse with steaks, grilled seafood, and hand-rolled sushi. B|10 is anticipated to open in early 2025.

Besides Deco, SLC is moving closer toward breaking ground on its first Houston-area project, a $171 million, 2-acre mixed-use development in Upper Kirby near River Oaks.

The company plans to build a 37-story apartment tower at 2811 Kirby Drive, which will have 330 residential units and 15,034 square feet of retail-restaurant space.
