Starwood unloads Hunter's Creek apartment asset

Starwood Trades Orlando Rental Asset for $100M

Brookfield Properties has acquired an apartment community in Orlando for $100.6 million. Brookfield purchased the property from Starwood. The apartments, built between 1994 and 1996, were last sold in 2010 for $39.5 million.

Osprey Links at Hunters Creek in Orlando, Florida, offers 424 apartment units. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, contained in 24 three-story buildings, range from 878 to 1,585 square feet. Community amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, tech lounge with printers, pool, sundeck, playground and pet area. The location in the Hunters Creek neighborhood of Orlando is close to shopping, dining and entertainment venues.

Hunter’s Creek is a 6.5-square-mile community located in the southwest corner of Orange County. The development is comprised of 35 single-family neighborhoods, seven apartment communities, four condominium properties and one townhome neighborhood. Hunter’s Creek is home to almost 25,000 residents.
