PIMCO has promoted EVPs Ravi Anand and Roman Kogan to global co-heads of commercial real estate private lending, PERE reported. Kogan and Anand have been with Newport Beach-based PIMCO for four and six years, respectively.
Three other executives have assumed additional responsibilities following the departure last month of John Lee, who most recently served as global head of asset management for PIMCO’s opportunistic real estate private equity and private debt businesses, according to PERE. Seray Incoglu will now lead the CRE debt asset management team globally while continuing to work with the portfolio team on sourcing and underwriting nonperforming loans. Zeyu Chen
Jungil Cha will now lead the CRE equity asset management team in addition to his current responsibilities, reported PERE. Meanwhile, Nick Minto will assume a broader leadership role for the European CRE equity asset management business.
Along with Lee, an 11-year PIMCO employee, another senior member of the real estate team left the company in June: Devin Chen, head of U.S. real estate private equity and special situations, stepped down after more than 13 years with the firm.
