Monday Properties Names VP of Acquisitions
Monday Properties has appointed Chris Wiederhold as vice president of Acquisitions, focusing on expanding the firm’s multifamily business. With nearly a decade of leadership experience, Wiederhold will drive growth by sourcing and capitalizing multifamily assets and development land in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions. He will collaborate with the asset management group on development initiatives and acquisitions.
“The fundamentals in the multifamily housing market remain strong and demand for apartment homes in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions remains robust,” said Adam Carr, executive vice president of Acquisitions and Capital Transactions at Monday Properties. “Given shifting demographics, the high cost of home ownership, evolving rent vs. own preferences and a strong economy, we anticipate identifying numerous attractive multifamily acquisition and ground-up development opportunities where Chris’ expertise and leadership will be invaluable.”
Previously working at Highlands Vista Group and Forum Real Estate Group, Wiederhold transacted on properties totaling over $1.4 billion. He will be based in Monday Properties’ Charleston office.
