Brinkmann Ranch Apartment Project Moving Ahead

Maple Multi-Family Land has almost closed the deal with the town of Frisco, and may soon start work on an eight-building multifamily project on land that was once part of a historic ranch.

The Dallas Business Journal reports work could begin on this newest multifamily project as early as mid-October. Completion is expected in October 2026.

355 residential units are planned across eight three-story buildings. Planned amenities include a pool, dog park, pond and walking trail.

The estimated cost for the project was listed at just over $64 million.

Brinkmann Ranch, formerly known as the Cloyce Box Ranch, spans about 5,500 acres and is known for being the setting for the fictional Southfork Ranch on the iconic TV show Dallas. Since then, it has drawn interest from many developers, including Trammell Crow Residential and Landon Development, to convert some of the vacant land into commercial and residential space.
