DICK’S Concept Store to Open in SA Retail Center

DICK’S House of Sport has committed to join IKEA and Floor & Décor as an anchor at Live Oak Town Center, a mixed-use retail, entertainment and hospitality project being built in phases on 111 acres at the southwest quadrant of IH-35 and Loop 1604 in San Antonio.

“We could not be more excited to bring DICK’S House of Sport to San Antonio,” said Herb Weitzman, of Weitzman. “This store will be a draw for the community, but also for the entire region.”

David Nicolson, president of Weitzman’s San Antonio office, handled negotiations for the center, working in conjunction with Michael Schoenbrun, Weitzman San Antonio City Partner.

DICK’S House of Sport at Live Oak Town Center will total approximately 100,000 square feet. Dick’s House of Sport differs from a standard Dick’s Sporting Goods store in that it provides not just athletic gear and apparel, but amenities such as athletic training facilities, rock climbing walls, batting cages and outdoor fields.
