TemPositions Inks 19K SF at 622 Third Avenue

TemPositions, a temporary employment agency, has secured a permanent 19,317-square-foot space on the 39th floor of 622 Third Avenue in Midtown. The 10-year lease with Cohen Brothers Realty was signed after TemPositions subleased the building. The rent was around $70 per square foot.

The building’s recent deals include Tower Abstract leasing 5,000 square feet on the 35th floor. McCann Worldgroup, another tenant, renewed its 15-year lease for 450,000 square feet in 2019. Matt Leon of Newmark represented TemPositions, while Marc Horowitz represented Cohen Brothers Realty in-house.

“It’s a building that is getting a brand-new lobby and [Charles Cohen] is constantly reinvesting in his buildings, and that’s why tenants return and new tenants are coming to us,” said Horowitz. “Our activity has been great, and in the market, the way it is, I truly feel like we’re ahead of the curve at this point.”
