Skanska Signs 20K-SF Lease in LIC

Skanska USA Civil Northeast has leased the second floor of the Cardinal Building, located at 21-01 51st Avenue in Long Island City. The 20,000-square-foot space will serve as office space for the global construction and development firm.

“Across Manhattan and the outer boroughs there has been an increase in the demand for infrastructure projects and move-in ready space when companies are looking for office space,” said Grant Greenspan, Principal of Kaufman Organization. “This trend reflects an ongoing need for modern, fully equipped work environments that can support the evolving needs of businesses.”

Kaufman Organization and True North, the landlords, were represented by Greenspan, while Jonathan Stravitz of BIOC Commercial Real Estate, LLC represented the tenant. The asking rent was $42 per square foot.
