New Sunterra BTR Community Offering Unique Amenities
A new Houston-area build-to-rent community is accepting tenants. The project is inside the Starwood Land master-planned community, Sunterra, in Katy. The Eden at Sunterra has 266 single-family and townhomes for rent. The homes, ranging from 1,436 to 2,480 square feet, are available for rent from $2,450 to $3,250. Each residence will include a garage and fenced yard.
Residents will have access to amenities provided by the master-planned community developed by Starwood Land, including a recently opened lazy river and the Crystal Lagoon, which is scheduled to open next year.
Anderson Residential Communities is the developer of Eden at Sunterra. Greystar is managing it. Colina Homes is the builder.
The trend of build-to-rent communities has been rising in Houston in recent years. With 4,836 build-to-rent units currently in progress and an estimated completion date of 2026, Houston ranks third on the list of U.S. cities with the most BTR units, per a recent study by RentCafe.
