Inland Appoints Cathleen Hrtanek as COO
The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC has appointed Cathleen “Cassie” M. Hrtanek as chief operating officer. In this role, Hrtanek is responsible for Inland’s human resources, information technology, risk management, communications, marketing, and purchasing.
Additionally, she will continue to serve as the corporate secretary of many Inland member companies, primarily those involved in the syndication of real estate-related securities, and is an active board member of various Inland member companies. She will report to Tony Chereso, CEO and President of Inland.
“Cassie’s invaluable experience, dedication, proven track record, leadership and profound understanding of Inland and its member companies make her a natural fit for the role,” said Chereso. “During her nearly 20 years at Inland she has always strived to drive positive change and an inclusive environment for all.”
Hrtanek joined Inland in 2005 as assistant counsel in the Inland Law Department after several years of private law firm practice. She most recently held the titles of associate general counsel and senior vice president.
