Clayco Subsidiary Expands with 191K-SF Training Center in St. Louis

Concrete Strategies, a subsidiary of Clayco, has signed a lease to relocate its operational service, innovation, and training center to 5790 Campus Parkway in Hazelwood, Missouri.

The 191,000-square-foot operational hub will feature 20,000 square feet of office space, including a state-of-the-art craft jobs training and innovation center for field testing cutting-edge concrete products for performance and sustainability. The training space will also be used to bring diversity to the design and construction industry by exposing and mentoring minority, underrepresented, and underserved students to career development in construction.

“We made the strategic decision to relocate our growing operation to a larger, more central location in Hazelwood where our team members feel safe, do their best work and have the backing of the community,” said Pat Moriarity, President of Concrete Strategies.

Concrete Strategies specializes in various concrete restoration and coatings and water-proofing for commercial projects. “This multi-year lease and capital investment will ensure Concrete Strategies remains a long-term part of the Hazelwood community,” said Bob Clark, Founder and Executive Chairman of Clayco.
