Creation creating The Switchyard mixed-use project in Queen Creek

Creation Adding $120M Queen Creek Venture

Queen Creek has been chosen as the site for Creation’s next big…creation. The company announced plans for The Switchyard, a 54,000 square feet, $120 million mixed-use project in the heart of Queen Creek that will combine restaurants, retail spaces, offices and residential units. Creation has three other projects underway in the Phoenix metro area.

Expected to break ground in the fourth quarter of this year, Creation has already secured the first two leases with well-known tenants. Postino, the wine cafe, will open a 3,800-square-foot restaurant. The Porch, a retro-inspired neighborhood hangout serving pub food, cocktails, games and TVs for watching sports, will open its fourth Valley location with an 11,900-square-foot restaurant.

Located on the northeast corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, The Switchyard encompasses 10 acres with 54,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space.

Dallas-based GFF Design is the project’s architect. LGE Design Build will build The Switchyard. The development will open in phases, with the first phase expected to be completed in early 2026.
