Lument Expands Capital Markets Team with New Hires

Lument has doubled the size of its real estate capital markets team, expanding the array of capital solutions it offers multifamily investors and extending the company’s reach to all major commercial real estate sectors. The New York City-based firm recently added managing directors Hirsch Simins, Jacob Cohen and Mark Vinitsky, senior director David Jungreis and director Ben Retter,

All five previously worked together at Walker & Dunlop. They join Lument managing director Ryan Norwood and senior directors Joshua Perew and Ralph Wurzburger. The team will provide investors with expanded financing access to construction debt, bridge loans, permanent debt and preferred equity placement.

The team is led by senior managing director Rick Warren and collectively secures or places an average of $1.44 billion annually across a wide range of asset classes. Lument’s capital markets group recently opened a new office in East Rutherford, NJ.

“Building an experienced group is a critical element in Lument’s strategy of developing deeper relationships throughout the commercial real estate industry,” Warren said. “These new additions bring extensive relationships that complement our existing strengths in multifamily and investment sales, enabling us to do more for our clients.”
