Real Estate Transactional Team Joins Allen Matkins from Goodwin

Allen Matkins has added a leading real estate transactional team is joining the firm across California. The group includes partners Dean Pappas, Jennifer Sung and Shaunt Kodaverdian, senior counsel Julia Lee and associate Brenn Coyle. All are joining from Goodwin Procter, and Pappas will serve as the co-leader of Allen Matkins’ real estate joint ventures & equity investments group.

The group comprises award-winning, transactional focused lawyers whose practices encompass a broad range of real estate and corporate transactions. They join Allen Matkins’ growing real estate practice, which now includes more than 160 transactional lawyers across California and New York, making it one of the largest and most diversified real estate groups in the country.

“The breadth, depth and brand of our real estate practice are unparalleled, and our ability to attract elite capital markets lawyers underscores the strength of our platform,” said Tony Natsis, name partner and chair of the firm’s global real estate group. “This is an extraordinary group, and their addition will further enhance our top-tier transactional real estate capabilities for our clients.”
