Gensler Names New DC Office Co-Managing Director 

Gensler, the global architecture and design firm, has appointed Kimberly (Kim) Sullivan as Co-Managing Director of its Washington, DC office, effective June 3, 2024.  

Sullivan, who has 25 years of experience and has been with Gensler for eleven years, will join Francisco Gonzalez in leading the office. Kim’s background includes a bachelor’s in interior design from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business. 

“The convergence of Kim’s business acumen and design expertise has made her an integral part of our firm and I am proud to be working alongside her as we embark on this new chapter for our office,” said Francisco. “From her diverse project portfolio to her longstanding client relationships, Kim has demonstrated that she is an exceptional leader. Together with our talented DC staff, we will continue to drive positive change in our communities.”
