CBRE, Weitzman, Avison Young Headline This Week’s Texas People & Companies
- CBRE has promoted Rob Burlingame and Josh Aguilar to Executive Vice President. The team has worked together since 2012 within CBRE San Antonio’s Industrial & Logistics Group. Both Rob and Josh specialize in representing tenant and landlord industrial clients in Central and South Texas. Combined, they have completed numerous transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion.
- Addison Gragson has been promoted to assistant vice president with the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Weitzman. Gragson handles retail project representation and retail tenant representation in the D-FW area. Gragson is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.
- Ted Rohan has been named principal of Avison Young. He is based in the firm’s Austin, Texas, office. Rohan joins the more than 30 Principals honored as part of the Avison Young 2024 Principal Class.
- The City of Grand Prairie has completed construction of two connecting Hilton-branded hotels totaling 276 rooms, as well as a convention center. The 147-room Homewood Suites and 129-room Hilton Garden Inn are within the 172-acre EpicCentral entertainment district and share a dual arrival lobby, reception area, lounge seating, bar, and elevator lobby. Merriman Anderson Architects designed the properties, and Arch-Con Corp. was the general contractor.
- Reno, Nevada-based ITS Logistics will open a newly remodeled 20,000-square-foot Transportation Center in Fort Worth in 3Q 2024. The center will be located in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District and create roughly 300 jobs over the next three to four years. It will be ITS Logistics’ second Transportation Center and second location in Fort Worth, with the first being its 1.1-million-square-foot distribution center that opened last year.
