Lee & Associates NYC Appoints Peter Braus as President
Lee & Associates NYC has appointed Peter Braus as its new president, succeeding James Wacht, who will remain as managing principal.
Braus, with over 25 years of real estate ownership and brokerage experience, co-founded the NYC office in 2011 and has been instrumental in several notable transactions, including the $18.2 million sale of the Banking Hall at 108 Leonard Street to Jack Shainman Gallery, the 30,000-square-foot lease of commissary space to Union Square Hospitality at Terminal Warehouse, and City Winery’s 32,000-square-foot flagship location at Pier 57.
“Peter’s deep understanding and forward-thinking approach uniquely position him to guide the firm to become a best-in-class, mid-size, full-service real estate service provider in the industry,” said Wacht.
Todd Korren has also joined the firm as principal, executive managing director and director of leasing, overseeing day-to-day brokerage operations, agent and staff development, strategic planning, financial reporting, and external promotion of Lee & Associates NYC.
