- Newport Beach-based Chicago Title National Commercial Services California, a member of the Fidelity National Financial family of companies, has launched the Chicago Title National Self-Storage Group led by self-storage finance veteran Chuck Mills as VP, national sales. Mills brings nearly 40 years of experience to the position, encompassing loan origination, financial consulting and venture capital. His foray into the self-storage sector began in 2000, and since then, he has financed more than 500 self-storage loans, totaling more than $2 billion.
- Granite CFO Lisa Curtis will retire on Sept. 16, and Watsonville-based Granite has named Staci Woolsey, current chief accounting officer, to succeed her. A 30-year industry veteran, Curtis joined Granite in 2018 and assumed her current role in January 2021. Woolsey joined the company in June 2021 and will be promoted to EVP and CFO effective Sept. 16 of this year.
- Commercial general contractor Swinerton has appointed J. Marcella Ayala as national director of life sciences. Based in Los Angeles, Ayala will lead Swinerton’s national market-specific growth strategy, foster key partnerships, and ensure successful project delivery, aligning with the company’s strategic long-term vision.
- McCullough Landscape Architecture, an award-winning urban design and landscape architecture firm based in San Diego, has added Polina Karake as an associate. She brings more than 15 years of professional experience, with a portfolio spanning public spaces, parks, waterfront developments, corporate campuses and urban planning projects.
- Chris Rucker has joined Singular Builders as VP, field operations. He comes to Singular with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Along with fostering high-performing teams, Rucker will be responsible for quality assurance/control, staffing and creating standard operating procedures in the field.
- ExchangeRight, a Pasadena-based provider of diversified real estate DST and REIT investments, has fully subscribed its ExchangeRight All-Cash DST, a debt-free portfolio of net-leased real estate backed by investment-grade companies operating in necessity-based retail industries. The All-Cash DST features net-leased properties in Abilene and Sweetwater, TX, tenanted by Tractor Supply and a Family Dollar and Dollar Tree combo store.
- Matterport, Inc. has launched avoided emissions reporting for select enterprise customers, measuring the emissions savings associated with the use of Matterport’s digital twin platform. Developed with independent carbon accounting experts, the reports enable enterprise customers to understand the impact of emissions avoided by collaborating remotely instead of traveling to inspect facilities onsite.
