Rockefeller Group Begins Construction on Southern NJ Distribution Center

Rockefeller Group has initiated the construction of the Rockefeller Group Logistics Center at Carneys Point in Carneys Point, N.J. The project comprises two buildings totaling 1,126,443 square feet: a 596,443-square-foot building (Building A) and a 530,000-square-foot building (Building B). Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, New York Branch, provided $114.8 million in construction financing for the project.

The project is located on Forrest Lane and Route 40, with easy access to I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. The buildings will feature 40’ clear heights, 50’ x 54’ column spacing, 658 auto parking spaces, and 328 trailer parking stalls, with completion expected in early 2025.

Rockefeller Group assembled the 141-acre project from 13 parcels and 11 individual sellers, with Ryan Curran of Curran Commercial representing them in the purchase and assemblage. The CBRE team of Drew Green, Thomas F. Monahan, Larry Schiffenhaus, and Brian Golden are handling the leasing of the project.
