Soosan USA to Relocate HQ from Schaumburg

Lee & Associates negotiated a 15,520-square-foot new lease of manufacturing space located at 1390 Gateway Drive, Suites 5 and 6 in Elgin, Illinois.

John Sharpe, SIOR, principal, and Rick Anesi, senior vice president, both with Lee & Associates’ Illinois office, represented the tenant, Soosan USA, a wholly-owned North American subsidiary of Soosan Heavy Industries. Soosan designs, manufactures and supplies hydraulic breakers, compactors and crawler drills to 70 countries worldwide. Matt Garland of Cawley Chicago represented the owner, Clear Height Properties.

“We were working with Soosan for some time to find the right space for its specialized needs, which was difficult in a still-tight industrial market,” said Anesi. “When we located the space in Elgin, Matt and Clear Height did a great job helping to secure the space and put the necessary improvements in to ensure continued success for our client,” he added.
