X Team Adds Philadelphia Affiliate, Rolls Out Retailer Services Platform

X Team Retail Advisors, a national organization comprised of more than 350 retail real estate affiliate specialists, said Monday it’s expanding its platform with the addition of Philadelphia-based MSC. The firm is rejoining the platform because it recognizes the value of being part of a larger group of retail brokerage firms, which leads to a broader industry and market presence and increased transactional opportunities. 

“The ability to leverage collective information of the X Team platform gives us a competitive advantage here in Philadelphia,” said MSC principal Douglas Green. “Being a part of a national organization delivers us greater collaboration, mentoring opportunities, access to information, data, and resources, while allows us to look beyond our own local markets to see larger trends.” 

The firm exclusively represents more than 20 million square feet of retail on behalf of landlords, and exclusively represents more than 110 retailers in the greater Delaware Valley region.  

The news follows the recent launch of X Team’s national Retailer Services business line with a suite of outsourced services designed specifically for retailers. The enhanced capabilities include site selection and leasing strategy, lease restructuring and optimization, development, market strategy and planning encompassing research and optimization, construction management, facilities support and outsourcing. 

“The introduction of a national team of tenant rep experts that serve as an outsourced resource for retailers across the country is well-timed to market demand,” said Dave Cheatham, president of Phoenix-based X Team Retail Advisors. “Retail brands have launched large-scale expansion programs in recent months and require the experience and skills X Team’s Retail Services team and platform of affiliates can deliver nationally.” 

Retailers can choose to use X Team’s Retailer Services team as their entire real estate department or to handle a lease roll-out in specific regions.
