  • CBRE announced that Grant Hortenstine, Thomas Berry, Pearce Martens and Jeff Wood have joined its Houston Industrial & Logistics group. Mr. Hortenstine will serve as a Senior Vice President, and Mr. Berry, Mr. Martens and Mr. Wood will serve as Vice Presidents. The team joins from Savills Industrial and specializes in representing industrial users with leasing and acquisitions across the Gulf Coast.
  • Birmingham, Alabama-based Regions Bank has named Caroline Vérot Moore as the new Houston market leader. Vérot Moore has more than 25 years of financial services experience and has spent more than a decade in various banking roles in the Houston area.
  • Dallas’ The Multifamily Group (TMG) closed the sale of the Stepping Stone Apartments in San Antonio, Texas. Paul Yazbeck represented the seller, a local owner with 14 years of ownership. Greg Miller procured the buyer. The property at 7737 Skolout includes 80 units. 
  • Dallas-based brokerage firm The Multifamily Group has negotiated the sale of Athens Reserve Apartments, a 122-unit property located about 75 miles southeast of Dallas. The 11-acre site was formerly a Quality Inn hotel constructed in 1981. The seller was Dallas-based Profectus Multifamily Capital.
  • Stream has been selected to represent DZMI in leasing The Tower at 290 in Houston, a 245,846 square-foot Class A office building located at 13430 Northwest Freeway. Under DZMI’s ownership, The Tower at 290 is undergoing significant enhancements, starting with renovations to the lobby and plans for additional upgrades throughout the property.
