LyondellBasell Spending $61M on New Houston Offices
LyondellBasell is planning an estimated $61 million buildout of its future U.S. headquarters in Williams Tower, the towering Galleria-area skyscraper.
Work on the 318,000-square-foot offices spanning several floors is expected to begin this summer and be completed by February. Houston’s Kirksey Architecture designed the space. The work will affect 13 suites between the 37th and 49th floors of the 64-story building
The Netherlands-based chemical giant announced last year that it would move its Houston offices in 2025. At the time of the announcement, it was the largest lease in Houston.
The company, currently in its namesake tower at 1221 McKinney, is one of the largest employers downtown.
