Rock Group Launches Riverside Warehouses for Lease or Sale

Rockefeller Group has begun construction of Sycamore Hills Distribution Center along Alessandro Boulevard and Barton Street just west of the I-215 Freeway’s Alessandro Boulevard on/off ramp in Riverside. The project includes two buildings totaling 603,100 square feet. JPMorgan Chase provided $87.2 million in construction financing to support the project in the Inland Empire East submarket.

“Although the industrial market slowed in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, we believe that industrial buildings in these size ranges will be in demand by prospective tenants soon before the project is completed in early 2025,” said James V. Camp, senior managing director for Rockefeller Group’s West region. “The buildings are being developed on separate land parcels and available for lease or for sale.”

Bill Heim, Alex Heim, Michael Chavez, Mario Calvillo and Finn Comer of Lee & Associates – Ontario will oversee leasing of the project. As part of the development, Rockefeller Group will also develop and then donate a 1.18-acre trailhead parking lot north of the property, which will provide hiking and mountain biking access to the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park.

Leaders From Rialto Capital Management, AEW, CIM, Rexford Industrial, EQR and Cushman & Wakefield come together on the Capital Markets panel at Connect Los Angeles 2024 on May 1 at the InterContinental in DTLA. Register now to hear from these industry experts and more.
