City Winery Inks 14K SF of Dining, Entertainment Leases at Pier 57

City Winery has signed a 20-year lease at Pier 57 in Chelsea, Manhattan, to introduce three new dining and entertainment venues. The lease includes a 6,500-square-foot flagship Mediterranean restaurant, a 3,000-square-foot tequila bar and lounge, and a 5,100-square-foot rooftop sushi bar and restaurant. This expands City Winery’s footprint in the building to 52,000 square feet.

Peter Braus of Lee & Associates NYC represented City Winery, and RXR was represented by William Elder. “With the addition of these three new diverse dining and entertainment spaces, Pier 57 is now substantially leased; a milestone that illustrates how the property’s offerings, which are all unique and additive from one another, continue to resonate with the community,” said Elder.

Pier 57 currently features various public and private offerings, including an 80,000-square-foot rooftop park and Market57, a curated food hall. City Winery anticipates opening these new venues in 2025.
