Assembly Row in Somerville Adds New Food & Beverage Leases
Assembly Row in Somerville has signed multiple new food and beverage leases this year, including local concepts Posto (5,965 square feet) and Toca Chida (5,420 square feet). Posto will offer a new takeout market/cafe alongside its full-service dining room, featuring handmade pasta, grilled meats, fish, poultry, and Neapolitan wood-fired pizza. Toca Chida, a new venture by Chef and Restaurateur Chris Damian, will offer Latin American cuisines with a bar program focused on agave-based spirits.
Amelia’s Taqueria (1,490 square feet) has already opened its fifth fast-casual location on Revolution Drive, next to Mike’s Pastry. These additions aim to provide a diverse selection for the community, with Assembly Row also welcoming other new restaurants in the past year, including Pokemoto, An Nam, and Tribos Peri Peri, offering Hawaiian-style poke bowls, Vietnamese grill, and cuisine inspired by Portugal, Mozambique, and Southern Asia, respectively.
