LVXP to build multi-billion mixed-use project near LV convention center

“Multi-Billion Dollar” Development Planned Near LV Convention Center

The entertainment venue is expected to feature a retail plaza, convention space, casino, several hotels and residences. The developer also hopes to build an arena to attract an NBA franchise as part of the “multi-billion dollar” project.

LVXP’s 27-acre development site is situated across from the newly expanded Las Vegas Convention Center, adjacent to Fontainebleau Las Vegas and near Resorts World Las Vegas. Las Vegas-based entertainment and architecture firm Steelman Partners will design the project’s architectural plans.

LVXP plans to submit permitting requests to Clark County by July and is hopeful to receive all permissions and permitting by August to break ground on the project late this year or in early 2025.

Clark County Commission Chair Tick Segerblom seems to be already on board, “This is a well-conceived project that has the potential to transform a valuable undeveloped land parcel into a highly productive destination that contributes meaningful long-term value to the community and visitors alike.”
