Wells Fargo Center in Jacksonville changes hads for $46M

Jacksonville’s Wells Fargo Center Changes Hands

The Wells Fargo Center downtown, one of the town’s most recognizable towers in Jacksonville, and two parking garages sold for a total of $46.4 million.

Argentic Investment Management bought the 37-story tower at 1 Independent Drive, a nine-level parking garage at 1 W. Bay St., and a three-level garage at 21 E. Bay St. Banyan Street Capital was the seller.

The 650,000-square-foot tower and the nine-level garage were sold for $41.7 million, and the three-level garage for $4.6 million. The Jacksonville Business Journal reports that the buyer purchased the building only. The building has a lease on the land, which is owned by Atlas Capital Group.

Cushman & Wakefield had the listing on the property.

According to its website, the new owner, Argentic, manages commercial real estate lending and investment vehicles focused on providing fixed-rate and floating-rate debt financing solutions to property owners in the United States.
