IT Firm Ahead Expands Midtown Office to 16K SF

An IT solutions provider, Ahead, has expanded its offices at 500 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, adding 10,238 square feet to its existing space for a total of 16,486 square feet on the entire 17th floor. Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Moises Cosio in the transaction with a team led by Harry Blair, Lauren Hale and Michelle Mean.

The lease details were not disclosed, but the asking rent was $95 per square foot. Ahead’s decision to expand highlights the building’s quality and prime location near Bryant Park. The building, constructed in 1931, is 59 stories tall and houses tenants such as W. W. Norton & Company and law firm Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch. Clothing retailers Vince and Zara are located on the ground floor.
