Madison Realty Capital Hires Samir Tejpaul to Lead Capital Markets 

Madison Realty Capital has appointed Samir Tejpaul as managing director and head of Capital Markets, effective April 1, 2024. In his new role, Tejpaul will enhance the firm’s relationships with global institutional investors and expand its private credit products and capital markets business. He will report to Brian Shatz and Josh Zegen, co-founders and managing principals of Madison Realty Capital, and be based in New York. 

With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate and investing, Tejpaul’s expertise lies in loan origination, alternative asset-backed lending, and institutional capital raising. Previously, Tejpaul served as managing director and head of Credit Capital Markets & Specialty Asset Finance for Affinius Capital, where he led, structured, or financed billions worth of gross lending deals.
