Bedrock, Douglas Elliman Unveil Luxury Detroit Tower Condos

Bedrock, in collaboration with EDITION Hotels and Douglas Elliman, announced a new luxury residential project in the heart of Detroit.

Located at 1208 Woodward Avenue on the site of the former J. L. Hudson’s department store, The Residences at The Detroit EDITION was designed by SHoP Architects. Elliman agents Andrew Anderson and Bruce Ehrmann will lead sales and marketing for the property.

The Residences at The Detroit EDITION will include a 48-story tower that will comprise 97 one- to four-bedroom condominium residences with hardwood floors, 10-foot-plus-high ceilings, and custom kitchens. In addition to the residences, there will be a five-star EDITION luxury lifestyle hotel with approximately 220 rooms conceived by Ian Schrager, former owner of Studio 54 in New York City with the late Steve Rubell, in partnership with Marriott International.

The announcement of the residences comes after General Motors Co. said it will move its global headquarters from the Renaissance Center to a midrise building immediately north of the Hudson’s tower, which will be the second-tallest skyscraper in Michigan when completed next year.
