Monday Properties Secures $206M Refi for Offices in Arlington, Alexandria

Monday Properties has refinanced its office assets: the office tower at 1812 N. Moore Street in Arlington and the medical office building, Shirlington Gateway in Alexandria. Citi Real Estate Funding, Inc. provided a five-year fixed-rate commercial mortgage-backed security for both properties. Loans of $173 million and $32.5 million were secured for 1812 N. Moore and Shirlington Gateway, respectively.

Recent leasing activity brought 1812 N. Moore Street to 90% occupancy, with Shirlington Gateway maintaining a 93% occupancy rate. Situated in Rosslyn, 1812 N. Moore offers amenities including a meeting, event space, lounge, as well as a fitness and wellness facility. While Shirlington Gateway, located at 2800 Shirlington Road, has proximity to The Village at Shirlington.

“The recapitalizations of these buildings are a great example of the capital markets’ continued commitment to high-quality office assets with market-leading sponsors and solid customer bases,” said Anthony Westreich, founding managing partner of Monday Properties.
