M&M Arranges Sale of U.S. Bank-Anchored Retail Center

Marcus & Millichap completed the sale of a U.S. Bank anchored center, an 11,772-square-foot retail property located in Homewood, Illinois.

Senior Managing Directors, Austin Weisenbeck, Sean R. Sharko and First Vice President Adrian Mendoza, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.

The asset sold all cash to a private investor, a limited liability company, and was secured and represented by Mendoza, Weisenbeck and Sharko. The SWM Group of Marcus & Millichap navigated multiple objections, including short lease terms.

The U.S. Bank anchored center is located at 18300 Dixie Hwy in the downtown area of Homewood. With high deposits, this U.S. Bank location reported over $111 million in deposits in 2023. U.S. Bank contributes to 68 percent of the property’s income stream, and the branch has been operating continuously as a bank since 2005.
