City Ventures to Break Ground on Townhome Redevelopment in Artesia

City Ventures, a builder of eco-forward, solar, all-electric homes, will break ground Wednesday on Eginhouse, a new live/work townhome redevelopment project in Artesia.  City officials, city staff and other notable partners will join representatives of City Ventures

Formerly an industrial site, the 4.2-acre property located at the southwest corner of Arkansas Street and Pioneer Boulevard will consist of 59 three-story townhomes, including 22 live/work units, plus 4,544 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Eginhouse is currently the only redevelopment project located in the northern end of Artesia. It’s also situated within the ABC Unified School District, and Cerritos College is nearby.

“Repurposing a once-blighted commercial area with sought after residential in a vibrant storefront lined street scene is a win-win for everyone,” said Natasha Zabaneh, president of City Ventures. “Together, we’re creating new possibilities for residents and tenants here in Artesia.”
