Guitar Center Moves to New Downtown BK Location

Guitar Center is moving out of its underground space at Atlantic Terminal Mall to a new location at The Paxton, two blocks away. The musical instrument retail chain signed a 15-year lease for 19,289 square feet on the ground floor and lower level of the residential tower at 540 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

Ripco Real Estate represented landlord Jenel Real Estate with a team of Hymie Dweck, Abraham Dayan and Ben Weiner, asking rents at $200 per square foot on the ground floor and $40 per square foot on the lower level. Guitar Center has been at Atlantic Terminal for 19 years and plans to open its new location by the end of next year.
