Rivian to Open First Boston Sales Center

Rivian, the electric vehicle retailer, is set to open its first Boston sales center in a location above the Massachusetts Turnpike, Boston Business Journal reported. The center will be located at Lyrik, a two-building development between Back Bay’s Boylston and Newbury streets.

Joining Rivian at Lyrik will be the Greek restaurant Avra Estiatorio, George Howell Coffee, Pink Carrott, and ChiCha San Chen. Rivian’s Boston location will be its third in the Northeast, following two stores in New York City.

Lyrik, developed by Samuels & Associates, aims to create a unique retail experience by combining locally known brands with first-to-market retailers. The development has already leased two-thirds of its 35,000 square feet of retail space, with other notable tenants including CarGurus, Lego, and Boston’s second citizenM hotel.
