Asana Partners Wrapping Up Larimer Square Revamp

Asana Partners is not afraid to go after a slightly dated property and clean things up. Its in the process of revamping three retail projects in Denver. The biggest renovation project is one involving Larimer Square. The company paid $92.5 million for the downtown retail center three years ago. Since then, the group has spent $20 million on a comprehensive facelift of the once-shiny property.

The Denver Business Journal reports work on the last of the exterior of 18 buildings to be updated will be done in May. Asana has finished upgrading the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems for 50,000 square feet of the interiors of the buildings, with an additional 45,000 square feet to go. That interior project won’t be finished until early next year. 

With the opening of these new storefronts, leasing of the ground-floor retail spaces will be at 70%, with both restaurant and retail opportunities remaining on the block.
