CBRE Hires New Retail Duo in Seattle

CBRE announced that Yohar Renaud and Kyle Herting have joined its retail practice in Seattle. Renaud and Herting both join as Vice Presidents and specialize in retail leasing across Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Renaud has worked with retailers for nearly a decade to expand across the Pacific Northwest. Prior to CBRE, he was senior vice president at Mattis Partners. Herting represents both retail landlords and tenants, and he was previously a senior associate at Mattis Partners.

“Yohar and Kyle’s work with national and regional tenants across the Pacific Northwest will be integral to the growth of our market. Their expertise adds to our capabilities in the region and advances the solutions we can offer our clients,” said John Miller, executive managing director for the Pacific Northwest and market leader for the Greater Seattle region.

The two join CBRE at a time when, according to CBRE’s 2024 U.S. Real Estate Market, demand for open-air suburban retail centers will increase at a faster pace than other retail formats, as traditionally mall-based retailers explore new formats for expansion.
