Studio G to Build Franklin Cummings Tech’s New Campus

Studio G Architects has broken ground on Franklin Cummings Tech’s new campus in Roxbury’s Nubian Square in Roxbury, MA. Teaming up with Studio ENEE, the firm aims to create an educational hub promoting innovation and sustainability.

The 66,000-square-foot facility prioritizes technology-rich learning environments and communal spaces to support the institute’s growth. Notable features include shared classrooms, technical labs, and a rooftop learning lab for hands-on experience in renewable energy technologies. With LEED Gold certification as a target, the design integrates passive strategies and energy-efficient systems.

“At Studio G, we are deeply committed to designing spaces that not only meet the functional needs of our clients but also contribute positively to the communities they serve,” said Sally Gibson, senior project manager at Studio G Architects. “The new campus for Franklin Cummings Tech exemplifies this commitment, as it will not only provide cutting-edge educational facilities but also serve as a catalyst for the revitalization of Nubian Square.”
