Sports and Entertainment District Adds CHOC as Founding Partner

Sports and entertainment district OCVIBE in Anaheim has added Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) as a founding partner. OCVIBE will be built around Honda Center, transforming 100-plus acres of downtown Anaheim into a walkable district. CHOC is OCVIBE’s second founding partner, joining Gallagher, with more to be named in the coming months.

“Our goal is to work with partners who share our values and support our local community. In that regard, there is perhaps no better partner than CHOC,” said Graham Siderius, chief partnerships officer for OCVIBE, Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center. “We are incredibly proud to continue working with CHOC to enrich the lives and experiences of our local community. We are thrilled to continue our decades long partnership with them with OCVIBE.”

The founding partnership builds on a 17-year relationship between CHOC and the Anaheim Ducks NHL team, which has raised $1.8 million since 2008 to support the pediatric healthcare system. To kick off the partnership and raise additional support for CHOC, the Ducks planned to celebrate CHOC Day on March 10 during the 5 p.m. home game against the New York Islanders.
