Walmart spending $380M on Robinson milk processing plant

Walmart Investing $380M in Waco-Area Milk Processing Plant

Walmart is opening an owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, its third in the US. The new facility is slated to open in 2026 and will create nearly 400 new jobs in the Robinson community. Its construction costs are expected to top $380 million. This project also represents the first anchor tenant in the Robinson Business Park. Upon completion, expected the facility will have more than 310,000 square feet of production and distribution space. Robinson is just outside Waco in Central Texas.

The facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options, including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, and 1% Chocolate Milk for Walmart’s Great Value and Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark brands. The products from the facility will serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs throughout the South, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.
