Gravity Brings Fastest EV Charging to Midtown

Gravity, a pioneering electric vehicle infrastructure startup based in New York, has unveiled its flagship Midtown Manhattan EV charging center. This initiative, in collaboration with public and private partners, introduces the fastest charging in the US to the heart of New York City.

Gravity’s charging equipment boasts a rate of 2,400 miles per hour, providing 200 miles of range in just five minutes. After testing with commercial fleets, all EV owners and major fleet operators will have access to Gravity’s 24 500kW charging systems at the indoor parking garage located at 401 West 42nd Street.

These ceiling-mounted systems require no additional space and zero utility upgrades, making them easily replicable nationwide. Certified by UL Solutions and backed by GV (Google Ventures), Gravity’s technology looks to accelerate American EV adoption and contribute to the green transition of the electrical grid.
