Capital Square Names Jay Olander as President, CFO
Capital Square has appointed Jay Olander as president and CFO, also leading Capital Square Apartment REIT, Inc. With over 40 years in real estate, Olander brings extensive REIT and multifamily expertise.
Previously, Olander led Landmark Apartment Trust, overseeing its acquisition by Starwood Capital Group. His career includes roles at Grubb & Ellis REIT Advisor and Cornerstone Realty Income Trust. Olander holds degrees from Radford University and Virginia Commonwealth University, and has completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education program. He’s actively involved in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Foundation and Greater Richmond SCAN.
