WinnCompanies Launches Nonprofit Resident Services

WinnCompanies has launched the Connected Communities Foundation (CCF), a nonprofit dedicated to creating and expanding community-based programs for affordable housing residents nationwide.

Connected Communities, previously an internal department, has grown to serve over 230 communities in 18 states. CCF, now a private operating foundation, plans to broaden its impact and seek philanthropic support. Trevor Samios will chair the CCF Board of Directors, with Mai Dang as President. CCF’s work focuses on community engagement, economic mobility, education, employment, health, and housing stability.

“Our primary goal in creating Connected Communities seven years ago was to ensure we were providing meaningful support in dealing with social, educational, health and economic challenges for our residents – in addition to providing quality homes to live in,” said WinnCompanies CEO Gilbert Winn.

On April 18, join multihousing’s leaders and dealmakers when they explore the most important topics facing the Phoenix and Scottsdale markets today. Register to attend and hear expert insights first-hand, network with the best in the industry, and sit in on discussions you won’t hear anywhere else. Connect Phoenix Multifamily & Single-Family Build-to-Rent on April 18 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa.
