- Pleasanton-based DAHLIN Architecture | Planning | Interiors is expanding its c-suite with the promotion of Emily Bonato to COO, Vanessa Yust to chief marketing officer and Gabriela Eaton to chief people officer. They join president Nancy Keenan and CFO Tim Williams.
- Willie Gutierrez and Amy Fuller have been promoted to co-presidents at Premier Workspaces. For the past 15 years, Gutierez and Fuller have served as COO/CFO and SVP for sales & marketing, respectively, at the Irvine-based company.
- Heather Lewis has joined Sunstone Management, Inc. as chief compliance officer at its Irvine headquarters. She has more than 17 years of experience in ensuring organizations follow stringent state and federal securities laws, most recently at Kairos Investment Management Co. as its chief compliance officer.
- Law firm Frandzel Robins Bloom & Csato, L.C. announced that managing shareholder Hemal Master and partner Michael Gomez have been named as “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys” for 2024 by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This recognition is awarded to minority attorneys who have made impactful contributions to the legal scene and serve as trusted advisors, significantly enhancing the diverse and effective legal landscape in Southern California.
- FirstService Residential announced two recent promotions in its Orange County operations. Anthony Mazza was promoted to EVP, community management. In this role, Anthony will oversee operations, client relationships, growth objectives, and associate engagement initiatives for Orange County. Holly Maddalena was promoted to SVP, community management. She is now responsible for daily operations of the Orange County market, including growth, business development and associate retention.
- Genea, an Irvine-based provider of smart building technology, has appointed Glenn Felson as SVP. Most recently, Felson served as managing director for Kastle Systems, where his responsibilities included leading portfolio sales for the largest commercial and multifamily real estate owners and managers globally.
- Louis Schump, creative director at Gensler San Francisco, has been promoted to principal. He leads the office’s workplace research and strategy work, primarily for technology and professional services clients. Schump specializes in team facilitation and visioning, cultivating client relationships, and mentoring emerging talent.
- Wellpointe Inc., a Fresno-based leader in residential assisted living, added Patrick Olvera as its regional staff development manager. Olvera brings a combination of regional and community-level experience, having served most recently as regional memory care specialist at Oakmont Management Group and as director of resident engagement at Silverado’s Calabasas location immediately prior to that.
- Seabreeze Management Company, Inc., a residential and commercial property management firm headquartered in Aliso Viejo, has acquired Best Management Company, a property management firm located in Bellevue, WA. Best Management Company will continue to operate independently while rolling up under the Seabreeze family of brands.
- Boingo Wireless, reportedly the largest operator of airport distributed antenna systems, Wi-Fi and private networks in the U.S., has deployed a high-speed 5G network that will support AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon subscribers at John Wayne Airport (JWA) in Orange County. Cellular service will be complemented by an airport-wide Wi-Fi 6 network that will launch this year and provide passengers and airport personnel with connectivity in JWA’s high-traffic areas, including security checkpoints and boarding gates.
